ODK

The Open Drienerloos Kampioenschap is an open tournament for all dancers where it is possible to sign-up for each dance with a different dance partner. There will be tournaments in ballroom, latin, salsa, bachata, and polka.

Subscribe

To participate in the tournament, subscribe using the following google form. The sign up closes 23-03-2019. If the amount of subscriptions exceeds the capacity of the tournament, the committee reserves the right to place subscribers on the waiting list. The first come, first serve principle is applied here.

Classes

• All ten ballroom and latin dances will be danced in the breiten and open class; the breiten class will be divided into an amateur and champions class in the first rounds.
• Salsa, Bachata, and Polka will each be danced in one class.
• The Open class is mandatory for those dancing NADB deb 2 with at least one promotion point (or equivalent), or higher.
• Those dancing NADB A class or hoofdklasse (or equivalent) are obligated to blind date within the Open class.
• Open dancers are allowed to dance in the breitensport as well, as long as roles are reversed within the breiten.
• NADB A class and hoofdklasse dancers (or equivalent) are not allowed to participate in the breiten class.

Clothing

• Only in the open class it is allowed to wear professional dance clothes, but be aware that the open class is shared between debutants and adults.
• Professional dance clothes are not allowed in the breiten class.
• Clothes should cover breast, buttocks, hips, and belly at all times. Whether clothing complies to these rules, is decided by the organizing committee.
